Cheek filler is rarely just about cheeks. People come in talking about looking tired, wanting a bit more structure, or noticing their face has changed over the years and not being sure where to start. The cheeks are often where that conversation lands.

That conversation is where we start. Before any product, before any decision, you sit down with a licensed injector and walk through what's brought you in, what you've noticed, what you're worried about, and what balanced looks like for your features. We work out whether cheek filler is the right call during that conversation, not before it.

We're in Fairview, a block from Kitsilano. Take the time you need.

Our Approach

One rule shapes everything we do: you should still look like you.

Not a trend, not someone else's face, not a version of you that needs explaining afterward. The goal is yours, balanced and rested, and unmistakably you.

It's the reason the consultation comes first, the reason we start measured, and the reason we'd rather you do less than too much. Subtle isn't a compromise here. It's the whole point.

About Our Cheek Filler Service

Cheek filler is one of the things people ask about when they're thinking about mid-face balance rather than a single feature. The cheeks play a quiet role in how proportioned a face looks, both straight on and in profile, and they're often part of a wider conversation about the mid-face.

Plenty of our consultations end with a suggestion to start small, address one area at a time, or wait a while. The consultation matters more than the appointment. When cheek filler is the right tool, it's a hyaluronic acid injectable, and at our clinic it's offered only after an in-person assessment with a licensed injector. Your medical history, what you're hoping for, your existing features, and the products and quantities that might suit you all get talked through openly before anything is decided.

The appointment itself is short. Numbing goes on first. You'll be in the chair for about 30 to 45 minutes from arrival to leaving, and you can stop or pause at any point.

Cheek filler is a prescription medical product. It is offered following an assessment and is not appropriate for everyone. Suitability is determined in consultation with a licensed injector. Pricing and product options are discussed at your consultation.

What to Expect at FaceCrime

FaceCrime is a small, personalized Skin Lab in Fairview. The clinic was built around the idea that aesthetics work best when they're considered, careful, and connected to your broader health. We don't say that to sound good. It's how the place actually runs.

  • Treatments performed by licensed injectors in a regulated medical environment
  • Consultations with time properly set aside to talk things through
  • Hyaluronic acid product options reviewed during your appointment
  • A calm, judgment-free clinic in Vancouver
  • A naturopathic team in the same building, since skin and internal health are connected

Skin reflects what's happening inside. For some of our clients, that's where the real conversation starts. If you're curious about how internal physiology and aesthetics connect, take a look at our naturopathic aesthetics write-up, or bring it up at your consultation.

The Process

01

Consultation

We sit down first. Medical history, what you're hoping for, what you're worried about. If cheek filler isn't the right call for you right now, we say so.

02

Planning

If it is the right call, we walk through options. Product, quantity, approach. Nothing happens until you understand the plan and feel good about it.

03

Treatment

Numbing goes on first. The injection itself takes about 15 to 20 minutes once you're settled. You're awake, you're aware, and you can stop at any point.

04

Aftercare

Written aftercare instructions to take home. A follow-up gets booked when it makes sense for your treatment. Questions in between? Call us.

Cheek Filler FAQs

Is cheek filler painful?

Most people find it more uncomfortable than painful, and even that's brief. Numbing goes on first. Pain tolerance is individual though. If you're nervous about it, tell us at consultation and we'll talk through what to expect so nothing surprises you in the chair.

How long does cheek filler last?

Duration is individual. The product, the amount, and how your body responds all play into it. We'll give you a realistic range at your consultation based on what would suit you. Touch-up timing is a conversation, not a calendar reminder.

Will it look natural?

Balance that still looks like you is what we plan for, and the cheeks are an area where a little can go a long way. We go carefully, we go slow, and you have full say at every step. We won't proceed if you don't feel right about the plan. We treat that as a firm rule.

Should I treat the cheeks on their own?

That's a common question and exactly the kind of thing the consultation is for. Sometimes the cheeks alone make sense, sometimes they're part of a broader conversation about mid-face balance or the under-eye area. Your injector will talk it through with you.

What kind of swelling should I expect?

Some swelling, tenderness, and possible bruising in the first 24 to 72 hours is normal. Most of it has settled within about two weeks. You'll go home with written instructions, and you can call us if anything looks off in between.

Can cheek filler be dissolved?

Hyaluronic acid filler can often be reduced if you change your mind or it doesn't sit the way you hoped. We offer this as a separate service and discuss it at consultation. See our filler dissolving page.

Who is not a candidate for cheek filler?

Cheek filler isn't right for everyone. Pregnancy, breastfeeding, active skin infections in the area, certain medical conditions, and some medications are reasons we'd hold off or pass altogether. Your injector goes through your full history at consultation, in detail.

How much does cheek filler cost?

Price depends on the product and quantity, both of which get decided at your consultation. You'll know the full cost before anything is booked.

How do I book a consultation?

Come Talk to Us

The consultation is the place to ask anything. Bring your questions, your hesitations, the things you've read online and aren't sure about. The conversation is where we figure out whether cheek filler is right for you, and whether we're the right clinic to do it.
